The Barley Films was founded in Ireland in 2002 by Barry O'Donoghue with the objective of producing films, animation for entertainment. The first two shorts, "Boys Night Out" (2003) and "Agricultural Report" (2004), were awarded the Annie of ASIFA-Hollywood, International Animated Film Society.
