The FIAE - 3rd International Festival of Erotic Animation is a competitive festival of animated films, which aims to contribute to the discovery and disclosure in Brazil of new films and new filmmakers, within the universe of Brazilian and foreign animation. The FIAE is the only festival of its kind in the world and was born in 2006 in order to stimulate the public exhibition of animations that are not distributed or displayed in traditional cinema circuit in Brazil.
This year we received over than 200 entries from animator of various parts of the world, of these, were 149 selected short of 32 different countries and 01 feature film from Belgium. Sex, love, sensuality, fetish, romance, safe sex, sexuality and eroticism are some of the issues related to films of animation, Brazilians and foreigners, selected for this edition of the festival.
The selected films are part of the festival programs: Special Opening Program, Short Competition , Feature Film, Short Online Competition, Special Safe Sex Program and Special City Hunters Program. In Sao Paulo will be the screening of Retrospective 1 and 2, with the best and the winners of 2006 and 2007.
The festival's awards will be handed over to Best Brazilian Animation and Best International Animation chosen by the popular jury, through voting. The Hotttest Animation will be chosen by Sexyhot and Best Online Short Animation at Porta Curtas. The Best Brazilian and foreigners Animations ,of the Special Safe Sex Program, also chosen by popular jury, will be rewarded for Prudence.
The FIAE 2008 happens from 06 to Nov. 14, 2008 at MAM - Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and from 02 to 07 December at HSBC Fine Arts of Sao Paulo.
